The patented security clasp by Martin.Care

The best wanderprevention system is of no use if it can not be ensured that the resident really carries a transponder. That is why we have developed a variety of closures to meet the different and individual needs of the residents.

1. Patented security closure for a bracelet

Our patented bracelet can be easily opened and closed by the nursing staff and is available as an arm watch as well as a watch imitation "Dummy". The closure is opened by the nurse using a special magnetic key and is of course reusable. From a tensile force of about 50 kilos, the closure gives way - this serves as an additional safety measure and protects the residents from injury when trying to forcibly remove the bracelet.

2. Metal bracelet with security lock

The Milanese-Band and the associated closure are particularly popular when the transponder should not visually differ from a normal wrist band e.g. to prevent stigmatization or to increase the acceptance of residents for carrying a transponder. The metal bracelet also offers increased cut resistance compared to leather or plastic straps. This means that with everyday tools (such as craft scissors or butter knife), the cutting of the tape is much more difficult.  Nevertheless, it should be noted here that a band can someday be destroyed with any tool, depending on how much time the inhabitant can "work" undisturbed.

3. Colortag safety closure

A resident who has never worn a watch in his life will probably not begin to do so in old age. Especially not if he / she suffers from dementia. In this case, we have developed a closure that can be securely attached to clothing. The transponder should best have been placed on the favorite garment so that it is not perceived as disturbing in everyday life or in the movement of the resident.

Every person is individual and of course that also applies to dementia-affected residents / patients in a caring facility. We offer a variety of ways you can respond to the individual needs of your residents - but you know your residents better than us and know what they need! In case the above displayed options are of no use for you, please ask us for alternatives.

IMPORTANT: The caregiver transponder provides a escort function that minimizes the need to remove the transponder. As a result, the association with the resident / patient, between the band and the fact that it triggers an alarm, can be avoided. This leaves the acceptance of the transponder at a high level
