Real-time locating system with inventory management and theft prevention

Save time through simplified search

The Care2Graph asset tracking system gives you an overview of where each device is located. This allows you to significantly reduce the time spent searching.

Search interface for nurses and medical products technicians

Different groups of people have different needs. For example, there is a separate interface for carers, where they can search for device types in their own and surrounding wards. However, a specific search is required for maintenance and inventory management. This is why the Care2Graph system separates the search views so that users only receive the information that is actually relevant.

Theft prevention and sabotage alarm

Theft prevention is an important cost-saving factor in healthcare facilities.

Martin.Care's asset trackers trigger an alarm if they are located in locations where they should not be, without being accompanied by a transport service, for example.

However, theft protection is only of limited use if the device can be removed without raising the alarm. Asset trackers therefore have a tamper alarm that is triggered if the tag is opened or removed

The asset tracker

The effectiveness of any tracking software is highly dependent on the hardware used for tracking. Therefore, it is crucial to carefully consider the selection of hardware, positioning technology, and manufacturer to ensure the long-term success of the system.

The asset tracker is designed to be waterproof, durable, and easily cleaned with wipe disinfection, making it ideal for long-term use on the device.

Martin.Care's asset trackers can be attached to devices using a special double-sided adhesive tape, making them locatable.

Two attachment options are available: a flat and a round version.
The round attachment also allows for attachment to wheelchairs or IV stands, which may not have many flat surfaces.

Energy management

The devices are equipped with sensors that prevent the battery of the asset tracker from running down too quickly.
When the asset tracker with RFID and BLE is no longer in motion or transmitting position data, it switches to 'deep sleep mode', extending the battery life of the tracker to up to 30 months.
Tracking is reactivated upon detecting movement, ensuring any change in location is recognised.

Asset trackers equipped solely with BLE localisation have a battery life of up to 50 months.

To replace the battery, use a special opener to complete the task in just a few seconds.
